24 mm Hot-rolled Hexagon Steel Bar EN 10061

Steel Hexagon Bar 24 mm is an elongated hot-rolled steel product. The hexagonal section has a diameter of 24 mm. A running meter weighs 3.92 kg, with 255.1 m of rolled products per ton. It is available from stock in lengths of 2–6 meters.

It is manufactured from structural carbon steel grades St3, 20, 35, 45, 40X (S235JR, C22E, C35E, C45E, 41Cr4) in accordance with DSTU 4737:2007 ( ≈ EN 10061 cert. 3.1) by repeatedly rolling hot billets on specialized rolling mills.

The primary application is the manufacturing of fasteners. Various bolts, studs, and nuts for standard wrenches are produced from hexagonal bars. Steel hexagon bars are also used to fabricate elements for metal structures, fences, stairs, handrails, and railings. It is in high demand in construction, shipbuilding, aircraft manufacturing, as well as in the production of medical and food processing equipment.
