Description
Steel Hexagon Bar 40 mm is a hot-rolled steel product with a hexagonal cross-section and a diameter of 40 mm. A running meter weighs 10.9 kg, with 91.91 meters of rolled product per ton. It is available from stock in lengths of 2-6 meters.
It is manufactured from high-quality unalloyed steel grades St3, 20, 35, 45, 40X (S235JR, C22E, C35E, C45E, 41Cr4) in accordance with DSTU 4737:2007 ( ≈ EN 10061 cert. 3.1). The starting material consists of preheated billets.
This material is widely used in construction and heavy engineering for the production of fasteners, such as screws, nuts, and bolts. Steel hexagons are also utilized for decorative structures, including technological stairs, handrails, balcony railings, and observation deck fencing.
