Description
Steel Channel 18P (type UPE) is a hot rolled steel profile with a U-shaped cross-section manufactured according to the DSTU 3436 ( ≈ EN 10025-2 cert. 3.1 + CE). It is an equal-shelf channel with parallel shelf faces, 180 mm high and 70 mm wide. A running meter weighs 16.3 kg, with 61.35 meters per ton. It is available in 12.05 m lengths. The product is manufactured by hot deforming the original billet of St3ps5 (S235 / S275JR +AR).
This rolled steel is used in heavy engineering for structural elements under bending or axial loads (such as crane beams), and also in civil and industrial construction, railcar building, and automotive engineering.
