Steel Channel 30P (type UPE) is a U-shaped structural steel profile with a height of 300 mm and a width of 100 mm. The type is equal-shelf with parallel shelf faces. A running meter weighs 31.8 kg. A ton is 31.45 meters of rolled steel. It is available from the warehouse in 12.05 m lengths.

It is made from structural steel grade St3ps5 (S235 / S275JR +AR) in accordance with DSTU 3436 ( ≈ EN 10025-2 cert. 3.1 + CE). Hot-rolling mills are used for production.

It is used in construction, building reconstruction, laying utility lines, building frames, and water basins (storm drains, drainage). It is also used in creating columns, piles and other supporting structures, and in machine tool building, automotive and shipbuilding industries.
