Steel Channel 36U (type UPN) is a U-shaped structural steel profile manufactured according to national standards. This equal-shelf channel features sloped inner edges, measures 360 mm high and 110 mm wide, and weighs 41.9 kg per running meter. One ton contains approximately 23.87 meters of rolled product. Manufactured in accordance with DSTU 3436 ( ≈ EN 10025-2 cert. 3.1 + CE), it utilizes hot-deformed structural carbon steel grade St3ps5 (S235 / S275JR +AR) on rolling mills.

This rolled steel finds applications in heavy engineering, serving as structural elements under bending or axial loads (e.g., crane beams). It is also used in civil and industrial construction, railcar manufacturing, and automotive engineering.
