Steel Channel 5P (type UPE) is a hot rolled steel profile with a U-shaped cross-section. It is an equal-shelf type with parallel shelf faces. It has a height of 50 mm and a width of 32 mm. A running meter weighs 4.84 kg, with 206.61 meters of rolled product per ton. It is sold in lengths of 12.05 m.

The product is manufactured from structural carbon steel grade St3ps (S235 / S275JR+AR), conforming to DSTU 3436 ( ≈ EN 10025-2 cert. 3.1 + CE) standards. The channel undergoes a multi-stage hot-rolling process to achieve its final shape and dimensions.

This U-shaped beam is frequently used in construction as a support element. It's also suitable for various other applications, including warehouse racking, guides for vehicles and lifting equipment, and wheelchair ramps.
