Steel Channel 8U (type UPN) is a U-shaped structural steel profile manufactured according to DSTU 3436 ( ≈ EN 10025-2 cert. 3.1 + CE). This equal-shelf type features sloped inner edges, an 80 mm height, and a 40 mm width. One running meter weighs 7.05 kg, with 141.84 meters per ton. It is shipped in measured and unmeasured lengths of 12.05 m.
Produced via hot-rolling technology on a rolling mill from heated structural St3ps (S235 / S275JR+AR) steel billets.
This product is used in constructing large-span floors and multi-story frame structures. It is also in demand as reinforcement for walls, roofs, and concrete. It effectively withstands both axial and bearing loads.
