Description
Steel loose flange DN160 PN16 is a connecting element designed for sealing piping systems operating under high pressure and temperature. It features a 160mm diameter and a nominal pressure of PN16 bars. Manufacturing adheres to GOST 12820-80 and EN1092-1 standards. Production involves forging, stamping, or plasma-arc cutting of billets from unalloyed structural steel grade 20 (C20 / S235JRG2).
These flanges are used to connect pipes of identical or varying sizes, integrate various fittings and devices, and securely connect pipes to tanks or other pressure vessels. They are also ideal for connecting polyethylene pipes to steel pipes or shut-off valves. Compatibility extends to all PE pipe types transporting both potable and industrial water.
