Steel loose flange DN63 PN16 is a round connecting element for sealing pipeline systems with high pressure and temperature. It has a smaller diameter of 63 mm and a nominal pressure of PN16 bars. The flange is manufactured according to GOST 12820-80 and EN1092-1 standards. The manufacturing process involves forging, stamping, or plasma-arc cutting of a structural unalloyed steel grade 20 (C20 / S235JRG2) billet. The steel flange is machined for a bore sleeve to facilitate connection of polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipes to each other and to shut-off valves (e.g., wedge gate valve).
