Description
Expanded sheet 3 (306) is a special sheet metal with notches. The sheet thickness is 3 mm, and the feed rate is 6 mm. It is supplied in 2.5 m wide plates with a length of 1.25 m. Produced according to DIN 791 standards, it is made from ordinary quality carbon steel or high-quality carbon steel grades S235JR.
Expanded metal sheet 3 (306) weighs 40.3 kg, with approximately 25 sheets per ton. The production process involves applying notches of a specific shape, followed by drawing the workpiece. This lightweight material bends well, making it ideal for fence construction, balcony and veranda decoration, and radiator covers. This versatile material is also used in staircase production and in the mining industry for creating rock screening sieves.
