Description
Expanded metal sheet 4 (408) is a special sheet metal with a 4 mm thick notch. The feed rate of the product is 8 mm. It is manufactured in accordance with DIN 791 standards from ordinary quality carbon steel or high-quality carbon steel grades S235JR . The production process involves drawing the workpiece with pre-applied notches of the required shape. One square meter weighs 16.8 kg.
This lightweight and easily bendable rolled metal product is often used for manufacturing light-diffusing barriers on roads with oncoming traffic and producing sieves for screening rock. It is also used as a fixing material in tunneling mine operations.
