Description
Expanded sheet 5 (508) is sheet steel with a special cut. The thickness of the rolled stock is 5 mm, the feed rate is 8 mm. The weight of 1m² is 17.1 kg. Carbon steel of ordinary quality or high-quality carbon steel of grades S235JR is used as the material.
Expanded sheet 5 (508) is produced according to DIN 791 by applying special cuts to the sheet steel, after which the workpiece is drawn on special machines.
Expanded sheet 5 (508) is often used as a sieve for screening rocks. It forms the basis for stairways, walkways, and fences in production and is often used as reinforcement for plastering.
