AISI 430 2B 1.5x1250x2500 mm Stainless sheet

Stainless steel sheet AISI 430 1.5 mm (1.25x2.5 m) 2B is a thin sheet steel product with a width of 1.25 m, a thickness of 1.5 mm and a length of 2.5 m. It has a smooth surface. One such steel sheet weighs 37.5 kg. 26.7 pieces of rolled steel make up one ton. It is made of AISI 430 ferritic stainless steel.

It is made by rolling a billet in a rolling mill and then firing it. The quality of rolled products is regulated by EN 10088-2.

Sheet metal is used as a raw material for containers for transporting and storing dilute acids (nitric, citric, acetic) and laboratory equipment. In mechanical engineering, it is used to make rollers, bushings, connecting elements of various designs, and parts of mechanisms operating in high humidity or aggressive environments.
