Welded pipe 1420x15 is a straight-seam or spiral-seam steel pipe with a diameter of 1420 mm and a wall thickness of 15 mm. It is manufactured by electric fusion welding according to DSTU 8944 ( ≈ EN 10217-5 +3.1 NWW, UWW ) from high-quality carbon steel sheets or strips, P235GH / S235JRH / S355J2H (St3ps, 17G1SU). The pipes are sold in segments of 10-12 m or random lengths. One meter of pipe weighs 519.74 kg, and one ton equals 1.92 m of rolled product.

Due to its large diameter, this welded pipe is frequently used as supports for pouring foundations, in sewage system construction, and as a material for water, oil, and gas pipelines at the district or city level. The presence of a welded seam makes it suitable for systems operating at average pressures and temperatures.
