Description
Welded pipe 1420x8 is an electrowelded straight-seam pipe with a circular cross-section, a diameter of 1420 mm, and a wall thickness of 8 mm. It is available for sale in random lengths of approximately 12 meters. The pipe is manufactured from low-alloy and carbon steel grades P235GH / S355J2H / S235JRH (20, 10, 09G2S, St3ps).
The manufacturing process involves forming the pipe from metal sheets, bending them, and then electrically welding the edges, resulting in a visible seam on the surface. The technical requirements for the welded pipe 1420x8 are regulated by DSTU 9219 ( ≈ EN 10217-5 +3.1 NWW, UWW ), which apply to all general-purpose longitudinally welded steel pipes.
