Hot-Rolled Seamless Steel Tube 48x3 mm P235TR1 (20) 3.1 + CE

Seamless pipe 48x3 mm 20 ( P235TR1 ) is a one-piece rolled product without welds or other connections. It has an outer diameter of 48 mm and a wall thickness of 3 mm. One running meter weighs 3.3 kg, with 300.3 meters per ton. It is available in measured and unmeasured lengths of 4-12 m.

The pipe is manufactured from structural quality steel grade 20 ( P235TR1 ) according to DSTU 8938 ( ≈ EN 10216 / EN 10210 3.1 + CE ). The manufacturing process involves repeatedly passing a hollow cylindrical billet between rolling mill rolls, resulting in increased strength.

This increased strength makes these pipes suitable for demanding applications such as drilling rigs, pump and compressor units, and casing pipes. In the latter application, they separate gas- and oil-bearing formations and protect against rock falling into the well. They are also used in water and gas well drilling rigs.
