Description
I-beam 290 HEA made of S235JR+M steel is a long product with an "H" shaped cross-section. The product is 290 mm high, 300 mm wide, and 8.5 mm thick. The weight of one running meter is 88.3 kg, and the length of one ton of rolled steel is 11.33 m. The standard length is 12.1 m.
It is produced in accordance with EN 10025 cert. 3.1 + CE from unalloyed S235JR+M structural steel by hot rolling and multiple billet rolling.
The rolled steel is used as supports and columns, roof elements in the construction of residential, warehouse, and industrial buildings, as guides in the construction of bridges and viaducts, and for reinforcing mine and subway shafts. They are also used for attaching racks to machinery and industrial equipment.
