Steel hexagon bar 27, grade C45E, is a type of solid hot-rolled steel with a hexagonal cross-section. The nominal diameter is 27 mm, with a weight of 4.96 kg per linear meter. One ton contains 201.61 meters of rolled product. The bar is produced with an accuracy grade of h10, h11, or h12, and is supplied in 3-meter lengths.

It is manufactured in accordance with EN 10278 cert. 3.1 standards using high-quality carbon steel grade C45E via hot deformation on rolling mills. Calibrated hexagonal bars are essential for manufacturing high-precision components and mechanisms in the aerospace and mechanical engineering industries. This hot-rolled hexagonal steel is suitable as a billet for hot stamping via forging rolls, as well as for hot forming on horizontal forging machines (HFM) and crank hot-stamping presses.
