Description
Hot-rolled seamless galvanized steel tube 219x8 is a circular hollow section without any welds, protected by a zinc coating. It is manufactured by hot deformation. The outer diameter is 219 mm, wall thickness is 8.0 mm. Standard lengths range from 4 to 12.5 m. The weight of one meter is 41.63 kg, and one ton contains 24.02 m.
The base material is high-quality structural Steel 20 (equivalent to European steel grades P235TR1 and S235JRH). The rolled product itself, manufactured to national standard DSTU 8938, serves as a functional analogue to products certified under European standards EN 10216-1 and EN 10210-2.
The thick wall provides increased resistance to hydraulic pressure and corrosive wear. The tube is used for installing industrial steam lines, heavy pressurized systems, as well as for bored piles and critical bridge support structures.
