Steel round bar 140 mm 35CrMnSi4-4 / 1.7242 is a cylindrical billet with a cross-sectional diameter of 140 mm. Quality is regulated by EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE. It is available in lengths of 2–6 m. The weight of one meter of rolled steel is 120.84 kg, and the length of one ton is 8.28 m.
It is produced by hot rolling preheated slabs of 35CrMnSi4-4 / 1.7242 structural alloy steel.
It is used as a billet for turbine disks, flanges, shafts, and bolts operating at elevated temperatures. It is utilized to manufacture components for the chemical and petrochemical industries. Furthermore, it is used in the production of spare parts for the automotive and aviation sectors, as well as in construction for reinforcing foundations and concrete structures.
