Steel circle 140 38HS is a cylindrical billet with a cross-sectional diameter of 140 mm. It is produced in accordance with DSTU 7806-2015; DSTU 4738:2007 (GOST 2590-2006) in lengths of 2-6 m. The weight of one meter of rolled steel is 120.8 kg, and the length of one ton is 8.3 m. It is produced by forming preheated slabs from St38KhS, a structural steel alloyed with chromium and silicon, on rolling mills. It is used as a billet for improved spring-type parts of small dimensions that require high strength and wear resistance: gears, rollers, pins, couplings, and intake valves for tractor engines. It is also used in the manufacture of spare parts in the automotive and aviation industries, in construction to strengthen foundations, vertical and horizontal structures.
