Description
Steel round bar 140 mm 38CrSi4 / 1.5201 is a cylindrical billet with a cross-sectional diameter of 140 mm. It is produced in accordance with EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE in lengths of 2-6 m. The weight of one meter of rolled steel is 120.8 kg, and the length of one ton is 8.28 m.
It is manufactured by forming preheated slabs of 38CrSi4 / 1.5201, a structural steel alloyed with chromium and silicon, on rolling mills.
It is used as a billet for small-sized, high-strength, and wear-resistant spring-type components: gears, rollers, pins, couplings, and intake valves for tractor engines. It is also utilized in the manufacture of spare parts for the automotive and aviation industries, as well as in construction for reinforcing foundations and vertical or horizontal structures.
