Description
Steel round bar 150 mm 58CrV4 / 1.8161 is a solid bar made of spring steel grade 58CrV4 / 1.8161 with a circular cross-section and a diameter of 150 mm. A running meter weighs 138.72 kg. One tonne contains 7.21 meters of rolled steel. It is available from stock in lengths of 2–6 m.
The round bar is produced by hot rolling a billet through a rolling mill. The production standard is EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE.
It is used as a workpiece for critical and highly loaded springs, thrust washers, brake bands, friction discs, gears, flanges, bearing housings, clamping and feed collets, and other parts that require increased wear resistance and operate without shock loads.
