Description
Steel round bar 170 mm 34CrMo4 / 1.7220 is a solid structural chromium-molybdenum steel bar of grade 34CrMo4 / 1.7220 with a circular cross-section and a diameter of 170 mm. The weight per linear meter is 178.2 kg, with 5.61 meters of rolled product per ton. It is available from stock in lengths of 2-6 meters.
The round bar is produced by hot rolling. The production standards are EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE. This steel grade features high heat resistance and excellent weldability without restrictions.
It is used for manufacturing critical welded structures operating under alternating loads and for producing pipeline fittings that undergo heat treatment. It is also widely used as a blank for tools, as well as for riveted, welded, or bolted structures.
