Production complies with DSTU 7809-2015; DSTU 4738:2007 (GOST 2590-2006). It is made at long shaft mills by hot rolling from St45, a high-quality structural carbon steel. The rolled steel has high strength and requires additional treatment before welding. It is often used as a billet for the production of pipes for heating and water supply systems, valves, and high-pressure seamless pipes. In mechanical engineering, it is used for the production of spare parts and mechanisms subject to thermal and mechanical stress.
