Description
Steel round bar 230 mm 20X (20Cr4 / 1.7027) is a cylindrical billet with a cross-sectional diameter of 230 mm. It is produced in accordance with DSTU 4738:2007 ( ≈ EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE) in lengths of 2-6 m. The weight of one meter is 327 kg, and the length of one ton is 3.1 m.
It is manufactured by forming preheated slabs of 20X (20Cr4 / 1.7027), a structural steel alloyed with chromium and silicon, on rolling mills.
This round bar is used as a billet for high-strength, wear-resistant small-sized spring-type components, such as gears, rollers, pins, couplings, and intake valves for tractor engines. It is also utilized in the manufacturing of spare parts for the automotive and aviation industries, as well as in construction for reinforcing foundations and vertical or horizontal structures.
