Steel round bar 280 mm 40XN (40NiCr6 / 1.5711) is an elongated cylindrical bar with a circular cross-section. It is produced by passing heated slabs through rolling mill rolls. The material consists of billets made of 40XN (40NiCr6 / 1.5711) structural steel alloyed with chromium and nickel. It is manufactured in accordance with DSTU 4738:2007 ( ≈ EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE).

The cross-sectional dimension is 280 mm. The standard length is 2-6 m. The weight of a running meter is 483.1 kg, and one ton contains 2.1 m of rolled steel.
