Description

Steel round bar 300 mm 38XMA (41CrMo4 / 1.7225) is a solid bar made of 38XMA (41CrMo4 / 1.7225) chromium-molybdenum structural steel. The cross-section is circular with a diameter of 300 mm. It is produced on rolling mills via hot deformation from solid ingots and slabs. Production complies with DSTU 4738:2007 ( ≈ EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE). The product is available in lengths of 2-6 m. The weight per meter is 554.6 kg, and one ton corresponds to 1.8 m.

This rolled product is in demand as a billet for critical components in mechanical engineering, machine tool manufacturing, and instrumentation. It is used to manufacture cam clutches, fasteners, gears, and shafts. It is also utilized for forged billets of long propeller shafts for seagoing vessels.
