It is produced by deforming preheated slabs of 65G(66Mn4), a chromium-alloyed structural heat-resistant steel, on rolling mills. It is widely used to make various types of springs, including automotive and industrial springs, as well as for the production of blades requiring high strength and the ability to maintain cutting sharpness. It is also used in the production of various types of fasteners, important structural components and tools. It has good machinability and is able to withstand significant loads, which makes it the choice for products subject to high dynamic loads.
