Description
Steel round bar 42 mm 60SiCr7 / 1.7108 is a solid bar made of spring steel grade 60SiCr7 / 1.7108 with a circular cross-section of 42 mm in diameter. A running meter weighs 10.88 kg, with 91.9 meters of rolled steel per ton. It is supplied from the warehouse in 2–6 m lengths.
The round bar is produced by hot rolling a billet through a rolling mill. The production standard is EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE.
It is used in all branches of mechanical engineering for the production of heavily loaded springs, torsion shafts, spring shafts for friction discs, and washers, which require increased wear resistance.
