Description

Steel round bar 45 mm 35CrMnSi4-4 / 1.7242 is a cylindrical billet with a cross-sectional diameter of 45 mm. It is produced in accordance with EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE in lengths of 2–6 m. The weight of one meter of rolled steel is 12.48 kg, and the length of one ton is approximately 80.1 meters.

It is manufactured by rolling preheated slabs of 35CrMnSi4-4 / 1.7242, a structural steel alloyed with chromium, manganese, and silicon, on rolling mills.

This round bar is used as a billet for small-sized spring-type parts that require high strength and wear resistance, such as gears, rollers, pins, couplings, and intake valves for tractor engines. It is also used in the manufacturing of spare parts for the automotive and aviation industries, as well as in construction for reinforcing foundations and vertical and horizontal structures.
