Description
Steel round bar 50 mm 16CrMo4-4 / 1.7337 is a cylindrical billet with a cross-sectional diameter of 50 mm. It is manufactured in accordance with EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE in lengths of 2–6 m. The weight of one meter of rolled steel is 15.4 kg, with approximately 64.9 meters per ton.
It is produced by hot rolling preheated billets of 16CrMo4-4 / 1.7337, a structural steel alloyed with chromium and molybdenum.
This round bar is used as a feedstock for forgings, superheater tubes, steam lines, manifolds, flanges, high-pressure plant components, and air-hardened pipeline valves. It is also widely used in construction for reinforcing foundations, vertical and horizontal structures, and reinforced concrete slabs.
