Description
Steel round bar 70 mm 58CrV4 / 1.8161 is a hot-rolled product made of structural spring steel grade 58CrV4 / 1.8161. The nominal diameter is 70 mm. The standard length is 2–6 m. Product quality is standardized by EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE.
It is manufactured using hot deformation on rolling mills. The weight of one running meter is 30.21 kg, and one ton contains 33.1 meters of rolled stock. This round bar features good weldability.
It is used as a blank for manufacturing springs, leaf springs, thrust washers, brake bands, friction discs, gears, flanges, bearing housings, clamping and feed collets, and other parts that require increased wear resistance and operate without impact loads.
