Description
Steel round bar 90 mm 35CrMnSi4-4 / 1.7242 is a metal billet in the form of a bar with a circular cross-section with a diameter of 90 mm. The standard cut length is 2–6 m. A running meter weighs 49.94 kg, with 20 meters of product in one ton.
The rolled products are manufactured in accordance with EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE from 35CrMnSi4-4 / 1.7242 structural alloy steel. It welds well when the workpiece is preheated.
Such rounds are often used to manufacture small improved parts with high wear resistance requirements: gears, shafts, pins, couplings, tractor engine intake valves, and solid-rolled rings for various purposes. It is widely used in the automotive and instrumentation industries, as well as in railway construction for the production of parts and fasteners.
