MARS 600 ultra-high-hardness armor steel plate features a 3.2 mm thickness and 1220x6000 mm dimensions. Manufactured by Industeel (ArcelorMittal), a single sheet has a calculated weight of 183.97 kg.
This specialized defensive steel is rated at 570 – 640 HBW hardness, providing exceptional resistance to fragmentation and projectile impact during tactical operations. It is widely used for advanced infantry fighting vehicle components, spall liner assemblies, target backstops, and naval deck fortifications.
