Narrow gauge rail R24 (S24)

Narrow gauge rail R24 is a profiled rolled product used for narrow-gauge railway rails.

It is produced at rotating roll mills by hot rolling from ordinary quality carbon steels of grades 50 (≈ R200) and 70. Rolled products are manufactured in accordance with DSTU 3799-98 / GOST 6368-82 (≈ EN 13674-4, S24). The standard cutting length is 12.0 m. Dimensions: height - 108 mm, head width - 51 mm, base width - 92 mm. The weight of one running meter is 24.9 kg, and one ton contains 40.2 m.

This product is primarily used for laying delivery routes for products and ore in underground tunnels, trolley tracks, and production lines for transporting goods and raw materials. It also provides tracks for rail-mounted cranes and crane beams, and is used for the repair and laying of narrow-gauge railways.
