Description
Rail R-50 is a rail beam, a type of structural shaped steel.
The product's height is 152 mm, the roadway width is 72 mm, and the base width is 132 mm. The standard length is 12.5 m. One running meter weighs 51.7 kg, and one ton contains approximately 19.3 m of rolled metal.
It is hot-rolled on section mills from high-carbon, low-alloy steel grades K76F (≈ R260, R350HT). Production complies with DSTU 4344-2004 / GOST 7174-75 (≈ EN 13674-1, 50E1/50E2).
Rail R-50 is used in constructing broad-gauge railways on mainline sections, laying crane tracks, access roads to industrial zones, manufacturing railway scales, creating rolling tracks for power transformers, and equipping turnouts.
