Description
Rail R-65 is a type of structural steel used for railway rails.
The standard cut is 12.5 m. Dimensions: height - 180 mm, head width - 75 mm, sole width - 150 mm. The weight of one running meter is 64.8 kg; one ton contains 15.4 m.
It is produced on linear and universal rail and structural steel mills by hot rolling from carbon steel grade 76 and microalloyed steel grades 76F, 76C, and 76T (≈ R260, R350HT) according to DSTU 4344-2004 / GOST 8161-75 (≈ EN 13674-1, 60E1/60E2).
The rail beam ensures the continuity of the railway track. It is widely used in the construction of wide gauge for the movement of heavy rail transport at industrial enterprises, trading bases, for the outer strands of curved track sections, and for arranging turnouts.
