Description
Rail R-8 is a narrow-gauge rail, a long product.
It has a height of 65 mm, a head width of 25 mm, a sole width of 54 mm, and a standard length of 12 m. One running meter weighs 8.4 kg, and one ton contains 119 m of rolled steel.
The product is manufactured by rolling heated solid cast billets on carbon steel section mills. These rails, suitable for H50 (≈ R200), T60 (≈ C60), and PT70 (≈ R220) grades, adhere to DSTU 3611-97 / GOST 6368-82 (≈ EN 13674-4) quality (custom dimensions).
This type of rolled steel is commonly used in various industrial production processes, warehouse crane beam and electric hoist systems, railways, underground mine tracks, quarries, and the construction of narrow-gauge railways for light rail transport.
