The pipe's outer diameter is 38 mm, and the wall thickness is 2.6 mm. One linear meter weighs 2.3 kg. One tonne contains 440.53 m of rolled product. It is sold in lengths of 4-12 m.

It is widely used in drilling rigs and pump-compressor units. As casing pipes separating gas and oil-bearing formations, preventing rock from collapsing into the wellbore. It is used in installations for drilling water and gas wells.
