Description
Steel round bar 210 mm 9XS (90CrSi5 / 1.2108) is a smooth bar made of tool alloy steel grade 9XS (90CrSi5 / 1.2108) with a circular cross-section and a diameter of 210 mm. The weight of one linear meter is 271.89 kg, with 3.7 meters of rolled product per ton. It is available from stock in lengths of 2-6 m.
This round steel is produced via hot-rolling on rolling mills. The production standard is DSTU 4738:2007 ( ≈ EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE).
It is used for manufacturing various metal tools, such as measuring and cutting tools where increased warping during hardening is unacceptable, threaded gauges, broaches, long taps, long reamers, and other special tools, as well as cold-forming dies, punches, and tooling for various machinery.
