Description

Steel round bar 280 mm 38XMA (41CrMo4 / 1.7225) is a smooth bar made of high-quality chromium-molybdenum structural steel grade 38XMA (41CrMo4 / 1.7225) with a circular cross-section of 280 mm in diameter. The weight per linear meter is 483.37 kg, with approximately 2.1 meters of rolled product per ton. It is available from stock in lengths of 2–6 m.

The product is manufactured via hot-rolling on rolling mills in compliance with DSTU 4738:2007 ( ≈ EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE) standards.

It is used in the machine-building industry as a billet for critical general-purpose components operating at temperatures up to 400 °C. In the machine tool industry, 38XMA (41CrMo4 / 1.7225) is utilized for manufacturing shafts, gears, cam couplings, and critical fasteners. It is also widely used for producing spare parts in the automotive and aviation sectors.
