Wear-resistant sheet 8 Hardox 550 is a high-strength steel plate manufactured by the Swedish concern SSAB.

The hardness of the sheet on the Brinell scale is 525 - 575 HBW. Sheets with a width of 2 m and a length of 12 m are available for order. The weight of such a product is 1497.6 kg. The nominal thickness is 8 mm.

Hardox steel is characterized by superior strength and high resistance to mechanical wear and impact.

It is widely used in the production of hydraulic hammers, as well as for lining chutes, blades, and concrete mixer drums. It is suitable for sheathing dump truck bodies, heavy-duty vehicles, gravel chutes, and industrial containers. Excavator buckets and their components, buckets with cutting edges and side liners, and bulldozer blade cutting edges are also manufactured from this material.
