Crane rail KR80 (A80)

Crane rail KR80 is a type of crane rail with a rounded head and a thickened bearing surface designed to withstand increased loads.

Beam dimensions are 130 mm in height, 130 mm in sole width, and 80 mm in head width. One running meter weighs 59.8 kg, meaning one ton contains 16.7 meters of rolled metal. The standard cut length is 12.5 m.

It is produced on universal and linear rail and structural steel mills by hot-rolling ingots from K63 (≈ R260) high-carbon steel. The rolled products comply with DSTU 2484-94 / GOST 4121-96 (≈ DIN 536, A80).

This product is used in construction for creating double-strand railroad tracks designed for heavy gantry and tower cranes, as well as mobile trolleys.
