Description
The 178x16 Swebor bucket knife is a cutting element for excavator buckets, loader buckets, or grader blades. It is manufactured from Swebor wear-resistant steel by the Swedish concern Swebor R&D. The Brinell hardness of the steel is 360–440 HBW (SB-40) / 460–540 HBW (SB-50).
The product is available in a 16 mm thickness with a 30° bevel angle. Cutting edges with a width of 178 mm are stocked at UTMK metal service centers. The standard commercial length is 6.1 meters, with a linear weight of 21.4 kg/m.
The material offers high strength and superior resistance to abrasion and dynamic loads. It is suitable for buckets and blades across all major manufacturers of mini-excavators, backhoe loaders, wheeled and crawler excavators, loaders, and graders.
