It is produced by forming preheated slabs of 35CrMnSi4-4 / 1.7242 structural alloy steel on rolling mills.

It is used to manufacture hot-rolled plates, flanges, cams, pins, rollers, levers, axles, welded components, and other parts of complex configuration operating under alternating loads.
