Narrow gauge rail R11 (S18)

Narrow gauge rail R11 is a shaped profiled metal product used for narrow-gauge railroad rails.

It is produced by rolling steel slabs on hot-rolled section mills with special steel rolls for rail transport using H50 (≈ R200), T60 (≈ C60) and PT70 (≈ R220) grade steel in accordance with DSTU 3611-97 / GOST 6368-82 (≈ EN 13674-4). The product's height is 80.5 mm, the upper part's width is 32 mm, and the base's width is 66 mm. The standard length is 12.0 m. One running meter weighs 11.2 kg. One ton of rolled metal contains 89.3 m.

This rail type is widely used for laying lightly loaded narrow-gauge sections, process railways in coal mines, organizing tracks for trolleys and other freight rail transport, and in quarries, mines, and industrial enterprises.
